"The Thirteen Pauri (verse) of Japji Sahib brings you the occult knowledge of Infinity.  It brings deep intuition."

From "Psyche of the Soul" by Yogi Bhajan and his wife Bibi Inderjit Kaur Khalsa

Japji Sahib was written by Guru Nanak in the 1500s in northwest India.

To create this change in your consciousness, chant or sing this pauri at least 11 times per day.

Translation by Ek Ong Kaar Kaur in her translation called "Japji, Song of the Soul."

Translation by Bibiji from "Psyche of the Soul"

By trusting

What you hear

When you listen,

The Truth

Of your own Inner

Consciousness

Will saturate your psyche

With wisdom

And deep understanding

By trusting

What you hear

When you listen,

You shall dwell

In all mansions

Of learning.

In trusting

What you hear

When you listen,

The blows and insults

Of others

Will not affect you.

By trusting

What you hear

When you listen,

Death will have

No power over you.

Such is

That True Spirit

Within me

That it makes me become

Pure, clear and sweet.

If you

Trust what you hear

When you listen,

Then you will know

What you see,

How to understand

And act.

The Faithful have intuitive intelligence.

The Faithful know about all the worlds.

The Faithful shall never be struck across their face.

The Faithful shall not have to go with the Messenger of Death.

Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord.

Only one who has Faith comes to know such a state of mind.
